Canadian born-Ghanaian actress and tv presenter, Haillie Sumney shares her thought on Why Nigerians are still succeeding in the entertainment industry compared to the Ghana entertainment industry
Speaking in an exclusive interview with GhBase TV, Haillie Sumney disclosed how she enjoys working with Nollywood filmmakers because there is always an opportunity in the Nigerian industry.
According to Haillie, the Nigerian movie Industry is succeeding because there is unity and the government also supports the industry as compared to Ghana
She also added that if the Ghanaian entertainment industry gets as much support from the government and various stakeholders as their Nigerian counterparts, there will be a lot of progress.
Speaking on why she left her career as a nurse to become an actress, Hailie stated that nursing didn’t pay her as much as she wanted. Besides, it has always been her dream to become an actress.
