Nigerian comedian, scriptwriter, and video producer, Mark Angel who was almost beaten by angry protesters at Port-Harcourt speaks and explains what happened
Yesterday evening 21 October, a video was trending online showing the moment Mark Angel was almost beaten by Port-Harcourt boys for assuming he was shooting a comedy skit during the protest.
The video captures when they saw him filming and when they surrounded him and almost dealt with him.
Also, he was even seen trying his very best to make sure they understand he was not shooting any skit but was rather trying to help a yellow Nigerian. Click here to watch that video

Meanwhile, speaking on what actually happened that almost led to why the guys almost beat him up during the protest.
He said, one of the commercial driver nearly jabbed a protester and they wanted to mob the guy.
He then decided to stop them and also reminded them of making sure the protest was peaceful.
However, one guy among those who wanted to beat him started shouting and saying he was shooting a comedy skit so they should deal with him.
