Military men deployment in the Volta Region by the government to ensure peace ahead of the incoming December 7th general election leaves citizens in fear.

According to a report sighted by Thedistin.com on Utv, a video of military men in the Volta Region has left the citizens living in fear as they do not feel the urge to carry on with their normal lives.

According to the report, the same high numbers of soldiers were also deployed to monitor the region during the registration of the new voters ID.

From the video, although some residents were not feeling secured by the numbers of the military men walking around some towns in the region.

However, Dominic Nitiwul Derrick Oduro, Deputy Ministry of Defence calmed citizens living in the Volta Region down and assured them that the military men were assigned to that specific region only to ensure peace and not to scare anyone nor create any form of violence.
