The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, has absented himself from meeting with the National Peace Council ahead of the declaration of Election 2020 results by the Electoral Commission

In an election program on TV3’s Election Command Centre on Wednesday, Mahama was said to have absented himself from the meeting.

TV3 reporter Komla Klutse who is stationed at the Cantonment office of Mahama reveals that the running mate of Mahama, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, the former National Security boss, Larry Gbevlo Lartey, and other NDC bigwigs were the ones at the meeting.

Mahama is said to have absented himself from the meeting because he believes the peace council should rather meet with the NPP and not the NDC.
