GUM’s Osofo Kyiri Abosom Asks President Akufo-Addo To End Post-Election Violence | Video

The presidential candidate of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM)Reverend Christian Kwabena Andrews, has called on the president elect, Nana Addo to ensure peace in Ghana after the election.

Leader of the Ghana Union Movement, has asked the president, Nana Akufo-Addo to end post election violence recorded in some part of the country in his visit to his office on Friday, 11 December.

After the election, the New Democratic Congress members in Tamale have been seen protesting against Nana Addo’s victory to retain the seat as Ghana’s president for the next four (4) years.

This comes after the NDC considered the EC’s results as flawed and discredited and the leader of the party, John Dramani Mahama revealing that he will not accept any fictional results from the EC when he was breaking his silence on Thursday, 19 December in a press conference at the headquarters of the NDC.

After the flagbearer of the NDC stated that some figures in the results were manipulated by the EC, there have been some terrible scenes at Tamale as residents have been spotted burning tyres and blocking roads.

This unrest in Tamale and other part of the country triggered Reverend Christian Kwabena Andrews to visit the president to make sure there is peace in Ghana.
