Electoral commission of Ghana chairperson, Mr. Jean Adukwei Mensa has officially responded to rumours of her whisking away to the United States after declaring the 2020 presidential results.
After Ghana’s 2020 poll held on Monday, 7 December and the presidential results being declared by the EC boss, Mrs Jean Mensa, there have been speculations flying across the Ghanaian media that she has traveled outside Ghana.

These rumors spreading at a faster pace that the Jean Mensa left the country few hours after declaring the Presidential Election Results on Wednesday 9th December were best seen on the social media walls of most National Democratic Congress fanatics and even their top party members have also said same.
Also, on 12th December Whatsup News paper published an article that electoral commission chairperson, Mr. Jean Adukwei Mensa has been whisked away at KIA in a disguised wheelchair (Read Full Story Here).
All these allegations were rubbished by the Electoral Commission in a press statements the commission released on 11th December and maintain that their Chairperson is still in the country. (Read The Full Statement Here).
A new video has popped that shows the Mrs Jean in a place that looks like her office with some staff which was taken on the 11th of December 2020.

The EC boss personally recorded the video to rubbish such claims that she has traveled overseas after declaring the presidential results.
In the video she was sighted with her staffers all observing the Covid-19 protocols with their nose mask on and boldly telling the NDC and some Ghanaians that she is in Ghana.
