Minority In Parliament Clash With The Police On Their Way To The Electoral Commission | Video

The NDC minority in Parliament in the early hours of this morning clashed with the police as they walked from Parliament to the Electoral Commission office.

According to the minority, their aim of walking to office of Electoral Commission was to present their petition to the Chairperson of the EC against the Techiman South Parliamentary results.

They indicated that the only issue in their petition was that Techiman South Parliamentary results needed to be recollated because it was wrongly collated and declared without their NDC parliamentary candidate present.

However, on their way to the premises of the Electoral Commission to present their petition they were heckled by the police preventing them from entering.

Some of the MPs from the minority clashed with the police and broke the barricade set up by the police.

According to them, the barricade was illegally set up by the police.
