President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo says the former president John Dramani Mahama is only making ‘noise’ with his 2020 election petition
Nana Addo earlier applauded Mahama after he decided to go to court instead of choosing to be violent which will affect the image of the country so far as democracy is concerned.

President Nana Akufo-Addo on Thursday, January 14, 2021, said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) won the 2020 election.
His comments come after the Supreme Court granted Mahama the mandate to rectify some errors in his petition, challenging the outcome of the general election.
Addressing the leadership of the NPP in the Greater Accra Region, Akufo-Addo insisted Ghanaians gave NPP a second mandate.

According to him, the petition challenging his victory is nothing but “noise”.
One moment they claim they gained 139 of the parliamentary seats, another they say 145. They are not sure as to how many. All these claims turn out to be false
