A video of what Shatta Wale said which caused Burna Boy to dwag him pops up after he went live to call him ungrateful.
The video is one of Shatta Wale’s interviews he had with Onua 95.1 FM, a Kumasi based radio station of Media General Ltd.
In the video, one of the panelists drew the world’s attention to Burna Boy’s days in Ghana and how Shatta Wale held him down.
He also recounted how Shatta Wale’s ‘Hosanna’ song with Burna shot the latter to fame. Right after that, Shatta Wale chipped in to reveal some more brotherly vibes between himself and Burna.
He outlined all the good he did for him way back and also claimed credits for Burna Boy’s Grammy nomination.
Shatta Wale in his own words said:
“When Burna Boy came here, he stayed like for 5 months I kept him in my house. I gave him a house, car everything you know.
And that time like he was struggling. But our industry don’t want to accept that but the man respects me for that….
If I don’t go to Grammy people should know that he went that for me and that is a Ghanaian celebration that is an African celebration we need to put our face towards.”
