President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Akufo Addo Makes Appointments To His Office For His Second Term after he reportedly collapsed 7 ministries
A new press release dated 19h January, shows the president has appointed 13 persons to his office for his second term
Earlier the President Nana Addo reportedly collapsed all the seven specialized ministries he created in his first term in 2017
These ministries are Ministries of Inner-City and Zongo Development, Business Development, Regional Reorganisation and Development, and Planning. The rest are Special Development Initiatives, Aviation, and Sanitation.

President Akufo-Addo had in his first term 36 substantive ministers and seven ministers of state overall.
There were also 48 deputy ministers, as well as 16 regional ministers and 16 deputy regional ministers, bringing the total number of ministers and deputy ministers to 123.
The seven ministries are being collapsed by the president because they achieved their purpose, a source close to the development told pro-government media, Asaase Radio.
According to a report filed on Asaaseradio.com, Akufo-Addo’s number of ministers in his second term is expected to decrease by “at least 30%.”
