The member of Parliament for Assin Central Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong debates for the first time after a while over which political party occupies the majority seat in parliament
As already stated, the eighth parliament is set to be a very interesting one since both the NDC and NPP have 137 members of Parliament each with one independent candidate.
Although, the Independent candidate for Andrew Asiamah has officially decided to work with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the National Democratic Congress is not counting him at an NPP member since he is an independent candidate.

However, Kennedy Agyapong has joined the debate in which his opinion over which party is seen as the majority.
According to him, the fact that the Independent candidate has officially decided to work with the NPP, they now occupy 138 seats in parliament even if he is not an NPP member, whenever there comes the need to vote over an issue in parliament the NPP will definitely win since it now has the majority seats.
