The Ministry of Health has issued a statement to public health laboratories to make Coronavirus tests free for Ghanaians.
The statement was issued yesterday, Wednesday, 27th January 2021.
The statement was signed by Chief Director at the Ministry of Health, Kwabena Boadu Oku-Afari.
The statement reads;
The ministry of health has decided that Public Covid 1o testing laboratories providing walk-in services can charge Only Travelers for testing. All other walk-in requests such as I’ll health contact tracing and exposure must be done free of charge using public health resources. All Public health laboratories are to take note and comply.
