Host communities of oil companies in the Niger Delta, threw caution to the wind and exchanged blows at the public hearing of the Petroleum Industry Bill at the House of Representatives.

The fight started when one of the Itsekiri leaders in Delta state stood up to speak when the host communities were called upon to make their submissions.

He was opposed by other members of the host communities and a fight ensued.
