The names of Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and controversial dancehall musician Shatta Wale were missing in the list of top 50 most influential young Ghanaians.
The list released by Avance Media had the likes of Stonebwoy, Diana Hamilton, Wendy Shay, Enock Darko, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Medikal, and Sista Afia but two big names did not make the list.

Influential personalities from Sports, law and Governance, Leadership and Civil society as well as leaders in other sectors were also featured.
Social media users seem to have discovered why Shatta Wale did not make the cut as an influential young Ghanaian.

They claimed the musician’s notorious attitude on social media may have contributed to his name not making it onto the list.
As for Sarkodie, they could not find a reason for he not featuring on the list. Check out the list below.
