Former Senator, Shehu Sani has called on the Defence Minister to allow citizens to also find their own way of protecting themselves after he (Minister) calls for self-defense.
The Minister of Defence has ordered self-protection wherever he goes in the midst of a bandit attack on the nation.

The same time to he (Defense Minister) has described people who are unable to face the bandits as cowards.
This has made SHenu Sani to call on him to mkae sure he grant citizens the permit to use their private means to protect themselves from bandits attack if he is also calling for self protection.
In a tweet, he said
If the Defence Minister is prescribing self defence,his Ministry should provide Nigerians with the ‘enabling tools’ or formally permit them to privately source for it,so that there shall be ‘cowards’ no more in this beleaguered and bewildered land.
