It’s getting scary how very astute and important personalities are loosing their dear lives recently. The latest sad news the country has to battle with is the sad demise of the deputy Clark of parliament.

The death of Mr Robert Apodolla was announced by former member of parliament Mr Ras Mubarak.

“I’m very sad to hear about the death of my friend and go-to person on rules of the House. Robert Apodolla, one of parliament’s most dedicated clerks, who passed away yesterday. My prayers and thoughts are with his family in this difficult moment” he added.

There is limited information surrounding the death of Mr Robert Apodolla. Parliament has been really been hit hard by the Corona virus pandemic as many MPs tested positive and had to take the intervention of the speaker to restrain those who have tested positive from entering the chamber.

Most deaths that occur recently are directly linked to covid 19 and this could be no exception. This however calls for serious measures to be undertaken in order to lower the spread of the pandemic.
