Popular Ghanaian media personality and entrepreneur, Jessica Opare Saforo sacks her tenant for being shady and breaching contractual terms.
Jessica Opare Saforo on her YouTube channel “Jessica OS” has narrated her ordeal on how she kicked her tenant out of her house suited at East Legon Hills after two years of living there.
On the evening of Friday, 19 February 2021, the broadcaster and host of Transformation with Jess, Ghana’s first weight loss reality TV show, sacked her tenant after engaging in a dispute with him.
According to Jessica, she has got some painters working to get the house a new interface and she is quitting the whole business of renting her house but this time, she is putting the house on sale and it is selling for $100,000.
Telling more about what transpired between herself and her former tenant, Jessica said prior to him living in the house, he made her understand that he was going to settle all the money the house was renting for but he during the day of signing of the contract, he came up with an excuse that he is locked up with money somewhere and hence he could at the moment offer 70% of the total amount.
Jessica in narration said it took him (the tenant) 8 months to settle the remaining 30% after promising her he was going to pay in just two weeks before signing the deal.

In that eight months, Jessica said, the tenant did not call her, he declined to answer her calls, left her with a blue tick and unread messages, etc.
After she once reached him on phone, Jessica said she showed him the other side of her as she questioned him on why he has been acting that way which only portrays him taking her for granted and after he was confronted, he sorted out the balance within 24 hours.
After his 2 years rent was due and having lived there for additional two months, Jessica said he told her he was not going to pay for the two months he’s lived there with an excuse that he did not agree with the terms and conditions in their deal.
