Kumasi Ash Town based rapper, Phrimpong has received threats from people believed to be from the camps of UpTown Energy after his “That Line” diss song to Yaa Pono.
Phrimpong has released a song titled “That Line” to diss Yaa Pono after he ‘disrespected’ Kumerican rappers in his song, Facts.
Yaa Pono after his social media banter with Samini and Shatta Wale released a new tune titled “Facts” which he dissed some Gh musicians.
In the song, although he fingered Sarkodie, Samini, Tinny, Shatta Wale, others on it, at Shatta Wale’s jab, Yaa Pono said after his collaboration with Beyonce, it is Kumericans he went to for a hit song, click here to listen to the song.
That verse got Kumericans pissed and that gingered Phrimpong to enter the studio to record a diss song for Yaa Pono.
Phrimpong told Yaa Pono not to diss again Sarkodie because he is counting Millions.
The Kumerican rapper warned Yaa Pono not to talk ill about his city, Kumasi.
Prhimpong called Yaa Pono a failure and asked him to show something he has made from music.
The Kumasi Ash Town Boy revealed that Yaa Pono’s verse talking bad about Kumericans wasn’t necessary and that he needs not to go scot-free, click here to listen to Phrimpong’s diss song to Yaa Pono.
After Phrimpong’s diss song to Yaa Pono, he has taken to his Twitter page to share with Ghanaian some threatening messages he is receiving from Yaa Pono’s camp.
Phrimpong indicated that he will lodge a formal complain to the Ghana Police tomorrow God willing.
He wrote:
Just Had a Call from THIS number Threatening Me. am Lodging a Formal complain to the Ghana Police Tomoro. #ThatLine OUT
The same number when entered with True Caller App shows the name, Black Boi
It also happens that the person uses a different name when you try making mobile money transaction to him. The person uses Nelson Duut as a registered MoMo name.
This same boys have sent rapper Phrimpong a voice note via WhatApp as they threaten to beat him for dissing rapper Yaa Pono.
