Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has lamented over the extortion attitude of LASTMA officials while on duty to perform their job.
In a trending video, Nigeria LASTMA Officials have been alleged for extorting N100,000 from drivers who use a one-way road, mistaken it as a dual road.
The road is said to be designed as a single lane but without any road, sign to show that it’s a one-way road.
Drivers who have no knowledge of the road a one way road patronise it to their destination.
However, some LASTMA officials hide on the way to arrest drivers who patronise the one way road.
This has made the actress to blast them for intentionally not performing their duties.
In a tweet, she said
Why won’t they put a sign there telling people that it’s one way or the wrong way to go?? They just want to jump out of the bushes like failed tarzans to exploit people. Sign post CLEARLY then you can have a legitimate reason for wrong doing.
