Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife, Samira Bawumia become the third and fourth Ghanaians to be vaccinated.

Ghana so far becomes the first country to receive hundreds of thousands of the covid-19 vaccines.

After the vaccines arrived, a lot of Ghanaians has shown no interest in getting the vaccine as a result of fear.

However, Ghana’s president alongside his wife, the vice president, Dr. Bawumia and his wife have set example for Ghanaians to follow.

As a leader, they have dedicated to themselves of being the first government officials to get the vaccine.

President Nana Addo and his wife, Rebecca Akufo-Addo were vaccinated at the 37 Military Hospital, click here to watch video of the moment.

Vice President, Dr. Bawumia and his wife, Samira Bawumia become the third and fourth Ghanaians to have been vaccinated today.

“We take the vaccine today to assure the public that it is safe to get immunized. Doing this will ensure that we are all protected as a nation,”

the Vice President, Bawumia said after taking the vaccine.
