‘Hijab Should Be A Choice Not Enforcing It On Women’-Netizen Reacts

A netizen has blasted the Lagos and other states government forcing Muslim women to the public on Hijab especially the schoolgirls.

According to him, wearing Hijab is a borrowed culture from the Arab tradition and it should not be enforced on Nigerian Muslim women.

As a way of joining the world to celebrate women’s day, he has called on the Nigeria government o reconsider their decision of making Hijab wearing a must

Making this statement on Twitter, he said

Hijab should be a choice and Muslim women should be allowed to choose if they want to wear it or not, enforcing it on them is uncalled for . By the way Hijab was never in the Islamic culture but borrowed Arab traditions
