Artiste manager Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson known in showbiz as Bulldog (Bullgod) has reacted to news of Burnaboy and Davido winning their Grammy Award.

Last night during the 63rd Grammy Awards Ceremony, Wizkid thanks to his feature on Beyond song “Brown Skin Girl” won his first Grammy Award.

Also, Burnaboy’s album “Twice As Tall” won best global music album” at the 63rd Grammy Awards.

In a post shared by Bulldog, he shared his thoughts on how Nigerian are pushing their artists unto the international scenes.

He wrote;

In Nigeria they rally round the flag — in Ghana we wipe the floor with it.

In Nigeria they open doors — in Ghana we shut them.

Government won’t make a deliberate attempt to fund the arts — when private companies do — government will frustrate and shut them down eventually.

In Nigeria they make billionaires on purpose — in Ghana, our leaders will purposely unmake millionaires over trivialities such as punani.

Until we make a systemic attempt — our mentions on the international front remains sporadic.
