‘I Don’t Take Salary And Per Diem’-Hon Ken Ofori Atta

Finance Minister-designate Hon Ken Ofori Atta at the vetting committee today has stated that his objective is not to enrich himself but rather grow the economy of the country.

During his vetting, he made it clear that he is not a minister who is interesting in enriching his pocket at the expense of the country.

In his four years of serving the country, he has never taken any salary from the government neither has he taken any per diem allocated to him.

His main motive is to move Ghana forward not to enrich himself and family.

He was named as “Africa Finance Minister of the Year” for 2018 by World Bank and appointed him chairman of the bank’s Development Committee
