International award-winning Ghanaian rapper Manifest praises the Asakaa Boys for revitalizing rap music ( Hip Hip and trap music) in Ghana

The Asakaa Boys in 2020 went viral with their hit song titled Akatafo), since then a lot of both local and top international artists have been jamming to their song.

A few weeks after, Yaw Tog who was once a member of the group featured them on his world hit song titled “Sore” and later got a feature from Stormzy and Kwesi Arthur for the remix which got a million streams on YouTube 4 days after it was posted

Rappers in the group are Bra Benk (formerly called Benk Money), O’Kenneth, Jay Bahd, City Boy, Kwaku DMC, and Reggie are signed to Life Living Records.

Meanwhile, Manifest has taken to his Twitter page to highlight the achievement of these young guys.

According to him, they have revitalized the hip hop genre in Ghana since almost every single artist in Ghana is now an Afrobeats artiste.
