‘It’s 2021 And VGMA Is Still Fake’ – Flowking Stone Blasts Organisers Of VGMA Awards After He Had No Nomination

Ghanaian rapper, Kwaku Nsia Boama known by his stage name as Flowking Stone has lambasted organisers of VGMA 22 after they failed to nominate him.

Organisers for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards have released the nominees of the 22nd edition of the prestigious awards, click here to see full nominees.

The awards scheme is designed to recognize, celebrate the hard work and dedication of various stakeholders and players in the music industry.

It’s been duly tagged as music’s biggest night in Ghana and this years’ edition marks over two decades of honoring deserving creatives in the music industry in Ghana and Africa at large.

Flowking Stone who seems to be disrespected by the organisation this time around took to his Twitter page to blast the award scheme.

According to Flowking Stone, it is 2021 but the award scheme has still proven to be fake.

Flowking Stone, who is currently residing outside of Ghana, confirmed that he will not return, and went on to thank his fans, stating that he writes his songs for them.

Flowking Stone wrote:

It’s 2021 and VGMA is still fake, but still we Move And they say I should come bk home. To what? The bias industry? I do this for my fans who recognises Quality. Thanks for supporting. Let’s keep pushing to the World
