“We spoke on the phone and your fierce energy gave me hope’, rapper Sarkodie leaves many teary as he consoles his 13-year-old fan whom he donated $10k for his brain tumor surgery but has been confirmed dead.

On April 4th, rapper Sarkodie showed kindness as he donated an amount of $10K to support the surgery of a brain tumour patient called, Michael Kofi Asiamah.

Sarkodie, Naa Ashorkor and others went ahead to plead with their fans to also donate to help save the little boy’s life in a post they shared on Twitter.

Due to their influence, they got the money needed for little Michael to under the surgery as rapper Sarkodie took to his Twitter page to thank everyone who contributed.

Sad news hit the family of Michael Kofi Asiamah and Ghanaians who contributed to raise a sum of $30,000 in aid of Michael’s brain tumor surgery as he was confirmed dead by his mother.

His mother Cordelia Ama Selormey gave the latest update via Facebook. According to her, the surgery was successful and he was healing fast.

But he complained of chest pain and that was the end.

Top Ghanaian artist Sarkodie sends emotional message to Michael, the 13-year-old boy who appealed for funds to undergo surgery but unfortunately passed away.

Michael used to be a big fan of Sarkodie which made the rapper contributed hugely to the boy’s surgery.

After his death, Sarkodie has taken to social media to bid farewell to his little idol as he shared a video of him rapping verbally to his song ‘Happy day’.
