Adom TV presenter Tima Kumkum, known in private life as Cynthia Tima Yeboah, has met her father for the first time in 20 years.
In a video sighted by, the daughter and father were spotted in an emotional moment hugging and laughing after meeting.
The two met when Tima Kumkum and others went to welcome her father upon his return from abroad.
According to the Adom TV presenter, her fathr travelled to America to about 20 years ago and had never returned to Ghana.
Tima revealed she was barely a teenager, only 13 years old, when her father eft the shores of Ghana for the United States.
Her father who was overwhelmed by emotions told the presenter to keep the camera away because he could break down in tears at any time.
The video of the reunion was shared on social media by Tima Kumkum who could not describe her feelings at that moment:
“I dont know how I even feel right now ,I got to meet Daddy today after 20years of living in the States, when he was leaving the country i was 13years and now I’m 33 ,I missed you so much is even an understatement this man is my whole heart, welcome home Daddy❤,” she sai.
Later, Tima shared some photos with her father with a caption talking about their bond:
“20 years of being apart but bond so strong,twinning with my Daddy ❤.”
