According to sources, he sustained severe injuries on his hands and legs.

He is currently at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital receiving treatment.

When a Citi News reporter visited the school, one of the legal occupants of the room provided insight into what occurred.

According to one young man, a legal occupant of the room, they were in the room when they heard a hard knock on their door and since the victim, Wahab Abdulai, was a ‘percher’ in the room they asked him to hide in the balcony because they thought it was the hall authorities going round looking for ‘perchers’.

To their surprise, it was four guys holding objects like sticks who were looking for two guys who had borrowed a car somewhere.

The occupant said Wahab Abdulai was a former Legon student and it was his first time visiting them as he debunked claims that he was a ‘percher’.
