UTV’s Award winning broadcast Journalist, Afia Pokua popularly known as Vim Lady urges President Nana Akufo Addo to be bold and courageous in fighting illegal mining in Ghana instead speaking big English
In one of her submissions on her “Critical Time” show, she urged the President to stop deceiving Ghanaians with his ‘big English’ but rather put security measures in place to deal with anybody involved in Galamsey
According to Vim Lady, it has become very scary to voice out your opinion with the current Nana Addo administration because some so-called national security officials will arrest and deal with you for challenging the government.
Just like most Ghanaians, Vim Lady has also added her voice to the illegal activities of the Galamsey operators that keep destroying natural water bodies which serves as sources of fresh and clean water to most people and villages in the country.
Vim Lady added that, it looks like all the president keeps doing about the issue is to be speaking big grammar anytime he talks about the issue.
