#FixTheCountry: School Feeding Caterers Cries To Government For Their 1 Year Unpaid Salaries

Caterers who partook in the government school feeding program across the country are calling on the government to release their funds in order to pay their debtors.

The Ghana School Feeding Program (GSFP) is an initiative of the Comprehensive Africa Agricultural Development Programme (CAADP) – Pillar 3 which seeks to enhance food security and reduce hunger in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on poverty, hunger, and primary education

In the mid of the campaign #FixTheCountry, other people whose services have not been paid by the government also join the campaign to share their grievances.

Ghanaian Youth began a trend of advocating good governance and accountability from the government by organising a social media demonstration.

The youth of the country who doesn’t want to be blindfolded by their political affiliation joined the call, making the #FixTheCountry trend globally.

As the youth cries out, mothers who worked for the government and has not been paid for over a year now also join the call to bring the government on his tolls.

These caterers use their own pocket money to make sure that, the government’s policy is running smoothly yet those who will distribute the funds have not been able to fulfill their part of the bargain
