Many people have reacted to a post by Ghana Celebrity Serwaa Ahimere as she complained about the current rise in prices of accommodation across the country.
According to her, one of her problem as a Ghanaian is the currently skyrocketing price of rent in the country as people have lost their jobs as a result of covid-19.
However, some people have misunderstood her post and attacked her personally.

It’s funny how people who struggle to pay rent are laughing at Serwaa over this rent issue. Clearly she can afford her rent and she can get someone to even pay for her even if she can’t. But the people who are suppose to fight for this cause are rather making unnecessary comment and making fun of her. How will those who are suppose to #fixthecountry take us serious???? And with this kind of mind set where do we think we are heading to as a country?

Serwaa is making a valid point, can we for ones stop the hating and acknowledge the sense in wat she said
I’m assuming she is generalising the rent issue. With that, she ain’t lying. Rent is indeed high in Ghana these days ooo especially Accra. Hmmm
They shouldn’t buy pressure for us and come and tell us they are hungry again, they are confusing us mum????we should knw which is which
it’s sad how shallow people can be and make mockery on things which is affecting us all . Is a suggestive caption addressing the issue most Ghanaians are going through . Who told you she’s renting and even if she is , who says she can’t afford her rent . You make a caption to downplay people to cause traffic on your page . Desist from your doings , it doesn’t help in anyway .
