NPA Reduces Fuel Price By 8 Pesewas Per Litre

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has reduced the price of fuel prices from the initial 17 pesewas per litre to 9 pesewas per litre; a difference of 8 pesewas.

This was communicated in a statement sighted by CBGIST.com. The attached details revealed that, the new adjustments is taking effect today, Wednesday, May 5th, 2021.

The NPA said in its statement that, “the 17 pesewas per litre increase in fuel margins, previously announced by the NPA has been reduced to 9 pesewas per litre, effective tomorrow, Wednesday May 5th, 2021”

The reduction followed a viral online protest by many Ghanaians who are demanding that, the government #FixTheCountry. This is a good sign that, the government is listening to the cries of the citizens.
