National Communication’s Director of the National Democratic Congress Sammy Gyamfi has mocked the CEO of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) for suspending morning host Captain Smart.
In a recall, the CEO of ABN ordered the General Manager of the Accra-based Angel FM to take Captain Smart off air over his constant criticism of the government.
According to Franklin Cudjoe, a powerful politician in the ruling government claimed the presenter is making the government very unpopular among Ghanaians.

This called for his suspension with the prudence of showing up insubordination behavior at the workplace, leading to his job loss.
However, Sammy Gyamfi unhappy about the situation called the CEO of ABN soft for been influenced by a politician in the country making the media come under a nation of a culture of silence.
