Ghanaian youth set to go virtual after Ghana Police restrain the youth from participating in a peaceful protest march on May 9.

In a recall, Ghana Police secured an injunction from the High court, preventing Fix the Country Convenors from organising a protest in the country as a constitutional right.

Though an Appeal Court Judge in a statement said Police has no right to secure an injunction on a protest without organisers awareness, Ghana Police were able to secure an order from a High Court.

Netizens with disappointment referred the case to Supreme Court but the court also postponed the case hearing to June 8th, 2021.

They have therefore decided to move the protest virtual to make it black Sunday where all sympathizers and well-wishers of the campaign put on their black shirts.

There will also be horn blowing between the hours of 1 pm to 4 pm by all drivers on the street to show their support to the ongoing campaign.
