Fix The Country convenors in a press release has denied rumours of them going into agreement with Ghana Police to secure an injunction from the court in order to prevent the upcoming protest march

According to them, after presenting their petition to IGP to secure protection for the upcoming protest, they were invited by IGP to give a gist about their actions and why they want a protest.

However, on their way going to meet with the IGP, they received a message of a change of venue and they have to move into the new place.

Upon reaching the venue, instead of meeting with IGP, it was rather Minister for Defence, Finance, Foreign affairs, National Security and others who were at the venue.

They didn’t panic but just have to meet and present their petition, only for Ghana Police to run behind them to secure an injunction.

This created discomfort for the support and so they’re ready to go for virtual protest where they will show off every wrong activity in their communities
