Ghana’s Finance Minister, Honorable Ken Ofori-Atta says the government will need about $10 billion US dollars to fix all the bad roads in Ghana as he reacts to #FixTheCountry protestors

This piece of information came as a respond to a question from the media on Sunday, during the Minister’s press briefing.

Since for days now, concern Ghanaians have been calling on the leaders in the country to fix the roads, a journalist decided to ask the Minister how much it will cost the government to fix the roads.

The Minister recounted some of the social intervention services provided Ghanaians, especially the vulnerable during the covid lockdown.

Just in case you have no idea what #FixTheCountry is all about, most Ghanaian youth took to social media to call on politicians to do something about the bad road and facilities in the country

The movement gained massive support after some influential musicians, actors and actresses added their voice to the campaign

However the police and the government cancelled the protests on the streets of Accra on May 9 due to injunction.
