The communication officer of National Democratic Congress, Sammy Gyamfi, has spoken against the arrest of Citi TV Journalist, Caleb Kudah for filming National Security zone.
On 9th May 2021, Caleb Kudah captured himself at the Black Star Square where Police officers had gathered to prevent the #FixTheCountry demonstration from happening.
Caleb Kudah was then picked up by National Security Operatives for capturing that video.
Sammy Gyamfi in a post on his social media handle condemned the arrest of Caleb Kudah.
According to him, the manner in which National Security Operatives acted was unlawful and preposterous.
He added that the oppression of journalists under the Akufo-Addo government must stop.
