Grammy awards winner Burna Boy has declined his status of been a Nigerian because he doesn’t make money from Nigeria.
According to him, though he lives and stays in Nigeria doesn’t mean he makes his living and money in Nigeria.
His comments came after a fan questioned him about making money on his homecoming in Port Harcourt last year.
After winning his first Grammy awards, he made a surprise homecoming party for friends, fans and family of which it was alleged that the Senator gave him some properties for selling the image of the State.

However, Burna Boy in response to such allegations have stated that he (Burnaboy) didn’t make anything from the homecoming but rather it was the other artists who performed during the program.
He also stated emphatically that, the kind of money he makes doesn’t come from Nigeria but rather it’s from the global world
