Controversial Ghanaian fetish priestess, Patricia Asiedua well known as Nana Agradaa has been fines by an Accra Circuit Court for operating Thunder TV without authoritized license after pleading guilty

Fetish priestess Nana Agradaa who is now an evangelist was recently arrested for operating two tv stations without the authorized license.

Earlier, she pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted self recognizance bail of GHC500,000 but she later changed her plea during her last court appearance.

The court presided over by Justice Emmanuel Essandor convicted and sentenced Nana Agradaa to a fine of GHS36,000 on the charge of operating a Television station without a licence, and GHS10,000 on the charge of “charlatanic advertisement”.

She risks a jail term of five years on the first count and one year in jail on the second count. The sentences are to run concurrently.

Meanwhile, Nana Agradaa was arraigned in April 2021 following her arrest by the police and National Security intelligence operatives in collaboration with the National Communications Authority (NCA) at the premises of her satellite television station, Thunder TV, one of the two stations the NCA accused her of operating illegally without authorization.
