Popular transphobic and the Daily Wire‘s host, Matt Walsh is a married man and also a father of six.
Therocratic fascist, and bestselling children’s author Matt Walsh was declared the Transphobe of the Year in 2022 by New Republic. He doubles as is an American right-wing political commentator.
He is the host of The Matt Walsh Show podcast and is a columnist for The Daily Wire. Walsh has authored four books and starred in The Daily Wire online documentary film What Is a Woman?.
Walsh is a former talk radio host for stations in Delaware and Kentucky. He is outspoken against the LGBT movement, especially the transgender community, and has campaigned in opposition to groups providing or encouraging transgender health care.
Early April 2023, a debates between Matt and two transgender individuals over how to define a woman earned millions of views on Twitter in just a couple of hours.
Both of the debates took place during a Young America’s Foundation event at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, N.M.

Who is Matt Walsh’s wife?
Matt Walsh began his career early 2010 as a talk radio co-host of The Matt and Crank Program at WZBH 93.5 FM in Georgetown, Delaware. In 2012, he moved to Lexington, Kentucky, joining NewsRadio 630 WLAP and launching a website, The Matt Walsh Blog, in which he discussed various issues from a conservative view.
As an Author, Matt Walsh released four books titled The Unholy Trinity: Blocking the Left’s Assault on Life, Marriage, and Gender in 2017, Church of Cowards: A Wake-Up Call to Complacent Christians in 2020, Johnny the Walrus , and What Is a Woman?: One Man’s Journey to Answer the Question of a Generation in 2022 respectively.
Walsh lives in Nashville, Tennessee and is married to Alissa Ann Walsh. They met on eHarmony. They have six children, including two sets of twins. His last set of twins were born on January 13, 2023 as he took to Twitter to write:
“Kids number 5 and 6 were born last night. The males in the family now outnumber the females 5 to 3. My master plan is complete. Mom and babies are healthy and doing well. Thank you for all your prayers”.
Alissa has also had seven miscarriages. In a tweet, Alissa revealed she’s had about 7 miscarriages.
What does Alissa Ann Walsh do for a living? Dr Walsh is a founder and director of Crohn’s Colitis Cure, an Australian charity supporting IBD medical research. The TrueColours Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) project was established in 2016 in Oxford.
Walsh and his household are Christians and he is a practicing Catholic.
The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh left a self described trans EMT speechless after asking a simple biological question.
There was a serious debate (or better still a clash) between Walsh and a transgender at the New Mexico State University. One of the debates began when a trans identifying individual, who said they work as an emergency medical technician, asked Walsh to define what a woman is.
“Because you’ve asked other people up here to define how we would define a woman, how would you define a woman, Mr. Walsh?” the EMT asked.
“Uhh…an adult human female,” Walsh responded.
But this was just the beginning of what turned out to be a lengthy back-and-forth between the two. At one point during the debate, Walsh spoke to the trans questioner’s role as an EMT.
“You’re responding to a health emergency. Biological male — somebody with a penis — is having a medical emergency and they say to you, ‘I think I’m having a miscarriage.’ Would you check them for having a miscarriage? Would you consider that a possibility for them?” Walsh asked.
“No,” the trans EMT responded, earning a round of applause from the audience. “But that’s because some people don’t have body parts — doesn’t mean they’re not a woman.”
Walsh responded by acknowledging that it had appeared they had both come to the conclusion that “there are some people who in principle can get pregnant, and there are some people who can’t.”
“There’s two categories, otherwise known as binary,” Walsh noted.
But before he could continue his argument, the trans EMT attempted to poke holes in what Walsh was saying by questioning how biological women who are unable to get pregnant can still be women based on his binary point of view of pregnancy.
“Truth matters and they can’t get pregnant — that’s the truth — so how are they still woman?” the trans EMT asked.
“For the same reason, that I can rightly say that human beings have two legs. If a person is born with only one leg, that doesn’t call into question the statement that human beings have two legs,” Walsh responded. “A person being born with one leg doesn’t mean that now legs are on a spectrum and we can’t say anything at all about how many legs a person has — who knows they could be a centipede, you know? They could have 100 legs. No, we know human beings have two legs. If a human is born without two legs something went wrong, they were supposed to have that second leg but something went wrong.”
In a separate conversation, a different transgender woman told Walsh she realized she was transgender by listening to “transgender persons describe their experience in their own words.”
After going back and forth for several minutes, Walsh asked the transgender woman to tell him the definition of a woman.
“A woman is somebody who is included and respected and seen and participates in society recognized by other women,” the transgender woman said.
