He has amassed over 140 million subs and the truth is, he didn’t do it alone. He has over the years worked with a lot of crew members, most of them are always behind the scenes. The few we see in his videos are known online as MrBeast friends.
Of course, with so many rabid fans and followers, MrBeast has plenty of admirers. It turns out that he has a specific checklist for potential partners, and his current girlfriend ticks all the boxes.
MrBeast recently went on an Antarctica expedition with his friends and YouTube crew to film a 50-hour challenge video. But it was not their first attempt going there, he said in the podcast.
The first trip got canceled because every single person in the Antarctica base tested positive for Covid. So they all had to be med-evaced out.
“We were about to board the plane and fly out and do 50 hours in Antarctica. And now it’s a wasteland. There’s no one there to clear off the ice runway or anything.”
So they spent a few days chilling in South Africa instead.

MrBeast’s girlfriend is no more Maddy Spidell. The YouTuber was dating influencer Maddy Spidell but they reportedly broke up somewhere in 2022.

She was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, and is a Twitch streamer with 24,000 followers on the platform. She mainly plays games, like The Witcher, on her channel and goes by the online name ‘TheaBeasty’.
She is also the author of the YA novel The Marked Children. Although it’s not very well known and hasn’t made her a fortune, unlike some other influencers and sitcom stars who made a fortune after their book got onto the NYT bestseller list.
“I knew of MrBeast. I knew the great things he was doing, but I was also – from a psychological perspective – curious. Are these people playing it up? Do they have an alter ego?” Booysen said in the Wide Awake Podcast about her meeting MrBeast.
The two began dating in February 2022 and since then Booysen has accompanied him to the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Award (where he won the ‘Favorite Male Creator’ award) and even had a cameo in his YouTube challenge video ‘100 Girls vs. 100 Boys for $500,000’.
“He really has a lot of things going in the background where he helps people,” Booysen said. “He won’t talk about this, but I get to brag for him.”
