On April 17th, 2023, Dr. Kwaku Oteng, the CEO of Angel Group of Companies turned a year older. Per GhanaCelebrities, he celebrated his 55th birthday on Monday with his friends, workers, and family.
Photos and videos from the scenes of the birthday celebration begun trending as luxurious decorations, a fleet of cars, and his mansion were shown.
Interestingly, his first wife joined in the celebration of his new age in a mini-party that took place in his residence in Kumasi. Also, his ex-wife, former Ghanaian beauty queen, Akua GMB sent him a heartwarming message as well.

Dr. Kwaku Oteng after divorcing his fourth, Akua GMB was rumored to be dating the winner of Miss Golden Stool Season 1, Felicia Amankwah-Animwaa, per an Instagram blogger Aba the Great.
In 2021 when rumors about his many wives were making headlines, he opened up about his life and reports about his marriages to many wives noting that most of the rumors about his life and relationships are untrue.
“From time to time, I am sure you come across stories that claim have done this or that. I want to stand here today and inform you that most of these stories about me are not true, they are fabricated. Every prominent man is hated for nothing,” he said at a ceremony.
He also trashed reports that his wives number up to 5 or 6. “People go about claiming that Director (Dr. Kwaku Oteng) has 5 to 6 wives, it is never true“. According to the Ghanaian millionaire, “nobody talks about you when you are an ordinary man.
Without saying the actual number of wives he has, he said “I beg you, just 2% of the things I’m accused of can be true. About 98% are not true, I beg you. Just remember that people only talk about those who are popular,” Dr Oteng said in the viral clip found on Pulse Ghana.

What happened between Kwaku Oteng and Akua GMB?
Sally Akua Amoakowaa Mensah aka Akua GMB officially confirmed her divorce from Ghanaian business mogul Dr. Kwaku Oteng in 2022. The news about their separation on grounds of infidelity gained traction in the media space in 2020 but she remained tight-lipped until 2 years later.
However, in a new interview Akua GMB granted STARR FM, she disclosed that all the allegations about her ex-husband physically assaulting her were untrue.
She said: “my ex-husband is too much of a gentleman to slap me”
Calling Dr. Oteng an ex pushed the host to ask if she had officially divorced him and Akua confirmed stating that she is single but not ready to mingle.
Akua GMB disclosed on live radio that she is done with marriage and not ready for anyone who would like to have a relationship with her.
According to her, she is channeling her energy to making more money and establishing herself as a millionaire in the country before thinking about settling down again.
Akua and her ex-husband are co-parents and are assumed to be friends. On the Adonko Bitters CEO’s 55th birthday, the 2011 Ghana’s Most Beautiful winner posted a beautiful photo of herself and her ex-husband on Instagram. Sharing the image, she captioned her post with;

Who are Kwaku Oteng’s children?
Dr. Kwaku Oteng has a total of over 23 children, per Ghana Web. This means he has more kids than Kennedy Agyapong with 22, and Osei Kwame Despite with 9.
Dr. Kwaku Oteng spoke for the first about his kids in an interview with Kwame Adinkra on Pure FM’s 4th anniversary where he noted that although he has this high number of children with different women, he respects and treats each and everyone equally with respect.
He wouldn’t say how many women gave birth to his over 23 children, and he insisted that their names stay secret.
His most famous child is Francisca Oteng Mensah. She was born on 14 February 1993 and is a member of Parliament of the New Patriotic Party for the Kwabre East Constituency and was known as the Youngest MP ever.
Dr Kwaku Oteng also shares a daughter with his ex-wife, Akua GMB whose name isAgudie and was born on the man’s birthday, April 17th, 2022. Apparently, his daughter with Akua is also a year older today.
