Chris Fischer hailed from one humble family in Dukes County, Massachusetts, USA. He has a sister by the name of Molly Fischer and a brother whose identity is not clear.
Growing up in a family of farmers, he spent most of his childhood doing farm work and learning how to grow different food crops. In his interviews, he confessed that his background in farming played a significant part in developing his interest in being a chef because he understood different types of food.
