What is Ezra Miller’s net worth?

Miller, born September 30, 1992, in Wyckoff, New Jersey, has Jewish, Dutch, and German roots and dabbled as a childhood opera singer, which helped him overcome a speech impediment, but at age 16 he decided to pursue acting.

While the beginning of their career was stacked with smaller-budget and independent films like Aftershock, We Need to Talk About Kevin, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower, they have recently been mostly acting in major blockbuster-level franchises like the Fantastic Beast films and the DCEU.

As of June 2023, Miller’s net worth has only continued to grow despite the various controversies swirling about them. However, IMDb lists The Flash as their only project in development, so once that premieres, Miller’s net worth could begin to fall without additional revenue streams.

But, how much is Ezra Miller’s net worth right now? At the moment, Ezra Miller’s net worth is estimated to be around $4 million. Other source pegs the actor’s current fortune at $12 million adding that they make a salary of $3 million a year and around $350,000 a month. Their main source of income is through acting and music.

How much did Ezra Miller get paid for We Need to Talk About Kevin? Miller’s performance reportedly earned them a respectable $650,000. It was the start of a very promising career.

How much did Ezra Miller get paid for The Flash? Their salary for The Flash is estimated to be $3 million, which nearly matched their own net worth.

How much did Ezra Miller get paid for Zack Snyder’s Justice League? Miller’s role as Barry Allen/The Flash became more prominent in the ‘Snyder Cut’ version of Justice League. While Miller previously only appeared in cameos in the DCEU, they became a fixture with this film. Their salary is not publicly known though the role of The Flash has reportedly earned Miller an estimated $170,000 annually for appearances both in movies and TV shows over the years.

How much did Ezra Miller get paid for The Perks of Being a Wallflower? Miller’s paycheck for The Perks of Being a Wallflower is not public, but what is public is the $600 fine that they had to pay for marijuana possession during filming. The charge, in today’s much more progressive era of marijuana laws, seems a bit superfluous but at the time drew a lot of controversy. Miller commented that they don’t regret having weed and that the idea of federal legalization “does seem like a fantastic idea…it seems a little silly that we can’t keep some in the ol’ backyard!” Well Ezra, you are very close to getting your wish!

How did Ezra Miller become famous?

Ezra Miller’s penchant for performance was noticeable at an early age. They performed at age 8 in Oscar-winning composer Phillip Glass’ opera The White Raven at Lincoln Center in New York City. They then went on to perform with the Metropolitan Opera. Born in Wyckoff, New Jersey to a dancer mother and a father who worked in publishing, Miller was exposed to art and literature early. After being cast at age 14 in Antonio Campos’ Afterschool, a role where Ezra plays a troubled youth who masturbated to strangulation videos, they decided to drop out of school and pursue acting. As Miller describes it in a New York Magazine profile, the decision was prompted by a dream where they met Ludwig van Beethoven in a subway station.

Miller was later cast in a similar role in We Need to Talk about Kevin where they play the son of a successful travel writer (played by Tilda Swinton) who develops increasingly violent and homicidal behaviors. Miller also acted in The Perks of Being a Wallflower alongside Emma Watson and Logan Lerman where they starred as a young gay student who helps Lerman’s character out of his shell. On TV, Miller played Damien, a recurring character in Season 2 of the Showtime series Californication. They also had supporting roles in Sophie Barthes’ adaptation of Madame Bovary, the docudrama thriller The Stanford Prison Experiment, and Judd Apatow’s romantic comedy Trainwreck.

Miller began a new phase of their career in 2016 with recurring roles in two major franchises—the Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and the DC Extended Universe. In that year alone, Miller made two cameos as Barry Allen, aka The Flash, in Zach Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. In addition, they were cast as the mysterious and troubled wizard Credence Barebone in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a role that would continue to evolve and become a major plot point in later movies in the series, The Crimes of Grindlewald and The Secrets of Dumbledore. On June 16, they’ll be taking their career to new heights in their first leading DCEU role in The Flash

There is, however, a different and darker side of fame that Miller knows all too well: off-set controversies. Unfortunately, those have become more prominent than their movie work. What started as a minor offense of marijuana possession during the filming of The Perks of Being a Wallflower has expanded to disorderly conduct and strangulation charges, arrests on charges of assault and harassment, and burglary. The compounding effect of these certainly spotlighted Miller for all the wrong reasons.
