The television talk show host (real name: Sean Patrick Hannity) is also an American conservative political commentator and author. He is the host of The Sean Hannity Show, a nationally syndicated talk radio show, and has also hosted a commentary program, Hannity, on Fox News, since 2009.

Fox News’ Hannity was born on December 30, 1961, in New York, New York, United States to parents Hugh J. Hanity, and Lillian F. Hannity. His mother Lillian worked as a stenographer and a corrections officer at a county jail, while Hugh was a World War II veteran and family-court officer.

He was the youngest of four siblings and the only boy. All his grandparents immigrated to the United States from Ireland. He grew up in Franklin Square, New York on Long Island.

In his youth, Hannity worked as a paperboy delivering issues of the New York Daily News and the Long Island Daily Press. His parents were initially supporters of President John F. Kennedy, eventually growing more Republican in their views as time went on, though they resisted being overtly political at home.

Hannity attended Sacred Heart Seminary in Hempstead, New York, and St. Pius X Preparatory Seminary in Uniondale, New York. He attended New York University and Adelphi University but did not graduate from either.

In 1982, Hannity started a house-painting business and a few years later, worked as a building contractor in Santa Barbara, California. He hosted his first talk radio show in 1989 at the volunteer college station at UC Santa Barbara, KCSB-FM, while working as a general contractor. The show aired for 40 hours of air time. Regarding his first show, he said, “I wasn’t good at it. I was terrible.”

Since 1989 when he made his debut as a talk show host, he has had an impressive career, and this time, he has added being an author, and television to his resume in a career spanning over decades.

But, what is known about his personal life, especially regarding his love life and family? Is he married with children?

Who is Jill Rhodes?

Jill Rhodes became famous as the wife of Fox News talk show host, Sean Hannity. They were married for more than two decades.

Jill Rhodes, born on August 27, 1962, hails from Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Alabama University.

In 1991, while working as a political columnist for the Huntsville Times, she received a call from conservative radio talk show host Sean Hannity, who asked her to advise him on interesting story ideas. Hannity was hosting a talk show for a Huntsville, Alabama radio station at the time.

The couple met later that year and married in January 1993.

Jill Rhodes worked as a book editor in New York before the couple started their family. She would later move to work as an editor on his Fox show “The Hannity Show.”

Jill Rhodes has always been her husband’s closest advisor. He dedicated his first book, “Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty Over Liberalism,” to his wife.

Jill Rhodes continued to support her husband during accusations of sexual harassment. Beginning in 2013, rumors circulated that Sean Hannity and major contributors to Fox had sexually harassed women working at the station. Fox chief Roger Ailes and commentator Bill O’Reilly left the station over revelations of sexual harassment. Hannity was accused by Debbie Schlussel, a conservative blogger, of inviting her to his hotel room and, when she refused, blacklisting her from the cable television station. Rumors that Rhodes and Hannity were headed for divorce proved to be unfounded.

Fans were shocked when Sean Hannity announced in 2019 that he had split from his wife, Jill Rhodes, after more than 20 years of marriage.

A source told DailyMail that “Personally the reason for the divorce, Sean does three hours of radio each day in the city followed by TV in primetime, his workload created a lot of time away and it was tough on the marriage. Sean’s a huge family man, this was hard on him”.

Although Hannity and Earhardt have not officially confirmed their relationship, they stepped out in June 2023 as a couple with a blended family. Sources close to the couple told the two ‘are extremely happy and have been for a while but admit it’s ‘not a surprise to anyone who knows them’
