Killaboi, a Nigerian popular punter who was dating social media influencer Augusta Osedion (Austa XXO) has confessed to murdering his girlfriend but admits it was out of pain, betrayal, and cheating. Read on for the details.
Killaboi known online as Killaboigram is a millionaire Nigerian punter who lives a flashy lifestyle and according to him, although he is just 26 years old, he had it all.
Austa XXO (real name: Onuwabhagbe Augusta Osedion) is a famous model and Instagram influencer who has over 100K followers on the Meta photo-sharing platform.
As it turns out, the two were in a serious relationship for over 3 years. It is alleged that the young man who is assumed a millionaire was financially taking care of the girl’s expensive lifestyle.
Austa XXO was reportedly missing for days until her mother went to Killaboi’s house at Oral Estate in the Ikota area of Lagos state to look for her. Prior to Augusta, missing, her mother had tried to reconcile her and her boyfriend over an issue they had.
On July 17, 2023, the punter took to his Instagram page to confess to murdering his girlfriend, revealing that he “mistakenly” stabbed her after they got into an argument.
In his series of messages confessing his crime, Killaboi revealed the reason for the murder as “pain, betrayal, and cheating”. He notes “Everything happened due to pain, betrayal, and cheating while explaining why he ended the life of his girlfriend of three years.
He also revealed “I’ve achieved so much at 26 but ‘woman ended me’.
Killaboi who cried about messing up his life at 26 in Instastory posts he shared, promised to ensure his late girlfriend gets justice as he can’t live with the guilt. He however disclosed that he ran away after kill!ng her out of fear. He further shared a message he sent to his late girlfriend’s mother.
Eyewitnesses are claiming that police who gained access to his apartment through the fence, found his girlfriend’s corpse mutilated. It was alleged that her vital organs were missing. Her car was recovered at the scene.
Prior to this murder case, Killaboi was arrested by EFCC operatives in 2021, after using a stolen card to carry out a N150m POS transaction. He was traced to a hotel in Umuahia and couldn’t escape at the time.
