Who are Angus Cloud’s parents?

Angus Cloud was born in Oakland, California, on July 10, 1998, to parents Mr. and Mrs. Hickey.

While he was from Oakland, the majority of his family resided in Ireland.

While not much is known about his parents, including how they met, when they got married, and how long they’ve been together, they were still married.

His father had died a week before his passing and per his family tribute to him, he struggled dealing with his loss.

On July 14, he took to Instagram to remember his late dad with a photo of him holding up a hang loose sign. “miss u breh,” the rising star captioned the picture.

It is not clear how Angus’ father died, but his death greatly affected Angus. An insider claimed he was having suicidal thoughts following his father’s funeral, per Page Six, and was staying at his family home in Oakland, Calif., to help himself grieve.

About his mother, TMZ reports she made a 911 call reporting a “possible overdose” before he was pronounced dead.

Also, it is known that when he was in his early teens, he fell into an approximately 10-ft. deep construction hole, and broke his skull and finger from the accident. While bleeding, he took the bus to his mom’s place. “She thought I was on drugs, ’cause my pupils was hella dilated,” Angus told Variety in 2022. “I was trying to tell her what happened, but I could only start a sentence — I couldn’t finish it. So I was like, ‘I’m just gonna go sleep in my bed.’”

His mother didn’t think going to bed was a good idea, and she brought him to the children’s hospital. That decision saved his life. He spent five days recovering in the ICU and had skull surgery to help fuse it back together. “That’s what the scar’s from. They cut my head open, they put some screws and a plate over where I broke my skull … me back up, and that was that,” he nonchalantly explained.

Cloud was only the only child of his parents as he had three other siblings and in fact, he was the eldest child in a family of six. He had a brother and younger twin sisters.

He attended the School of Production Design at Oakland School for the Arts, where he was a classmate of his Euphoria co-star Zendaya.

Cloud revealed in an interview with Variety in August 2022 that he suffered “minor brain damage” from a serious fall when he was a teenager. The injury resulted in a scar on the right side of his head.

Angus Cloud was best known for his portrayal of Fezco in the HBO television series Euphoria. He also had small roles in the independent films North Hollywood (2021) and The Line (2023) and also appeared in music videos by Noah Cyrus, Juice WRLD, Becky G, and Karol G.

What did Angus Cloud’s family say about his death?

Hours after his death was reported, his family released a statement.

“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” his family shared. “As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”

His loved ones said Cloud had been mourning the recent death of his dad.

“Last week, he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss,” the statement continued. “The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”

His family added, “We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”
