On Thursday, August 3, 2023, she was killed in a boat accident off the Amalfi coast in Italy. Unfortunately, her partner and kids witnessed her death. Who is Adrienne Vaughan’s husband?

Adrienne Vaughan, president of Bloomsbury USA, was married to her husband Mike White who is a German businessman by profession.

There are no details about her husband. White’s family, educational background, parents, and more are yet to be disclosed.

Vaughan and her husband were private with their relationship making when they started dating, how they first met, and how long they were together unknown to the public.

Per online pictures, the couple lived happily together in New York and they loved to go on trips.

Famed writer Adrienne Vaughan was a mother before her death in August, 2023. In the years of her marriages to her husband Mike White, they were parents to two adorable kids; a daughter and a son.

Adrienne and Mike’s children names are Leanna and Mason. Their daughter/first child is 14 years old while their son/youngest child is 11 years old.

What happened to Adrienne Vaughan, her husband and kids?

Adrienne Vaughan was killed in the horror speedboat crash while onboard with her husband and two children after she meticulously planned her dream trip to Italy.

At around 6.30pm, their seven metre pleasure boat collided with a 130ft 45 metre Tortuga ship filled with 85 people celebrating a wedding near to Fiordo di Furore.

American and German holidaymakers were in the middle of the wedding banquet when the tragedy occurred, local media claimed.

Her husband was also thrown from the boat and reportedly suffered serious limb injuries, including a dislocated shoulder and lacerated wounds.

Fortunately, the children were unharmed but they needed therapy for shock. They are kept in a tourist facility in Sant’Agata dei due to Goldi, where the family had been staying while vacationing in Europe. A few days ago, the family was enjoying their summer break in Rome and posted several pictures of them in front of the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum.

The boat’s skipper was also injured and taken to hospital in Castiglione di Ravello along with Mike, where he was operated.

According to one witness, Pietro Luzzolino, the skipper of the speedboat was ‘vomiting’ and ‘gave the impression he was drunk.’ Furthermore, as per Italian media outlets Ansa and Italy24, the 30-year-old man also failed his toxicology tests.

Vaughan played a crucial role in several top projects, including titles such as the Harry Potter series. She previously worked for the Disney Publishing group from 2015 to 2018. According to her former colleague, she was a ‘charismatic true leader’. The post shared on LinkedIn added, “She was my coach and my mentor. I loved working with her every day. It was always ready to help others.”
