Who is Mahek Bukhari’s mum Ansreen?

Ansreen Bukhari is influencer Mahek Bukhari’s mum.

She is 45 years old and from Stoke-on-Trent, in Staffordshire.

Ansreen works as a managing director at a security firm.

Her daughter Mahek boasts more than 126,000 followers on TikTok and a further 43,000 on Instagram.

Mahek regularly shares snippets of her life, including her outfits, make-up and handbags, and also creates videos alongside her mum Ansreen.

Who is Mahek Bukhari’s father?

Mahek Bukhari’s father is Mr. Ali Raza Bukhari. There are no further info about him aside from he being a businessman.

He reportedly had a ‘messy’ marriage to Mahek’s mother who was dating 21-year-old Saqib and had several affairs with him while still married.

A statement from Ansreen Bukhari’s husband, Ali Raza, was also read to the court as he told the police he did not know about the affair his wife was having behind him.

Saqib had been in a relationship with married Ansreen and “appeared to be in love” with her during the three year affair.

He had even showered Ansreen, who he called “Anzy”, with gifts and dates costing a total of around £3,000.

But, by January 2022, the married mum want to end the relationship, however “increasingly obsessive” Saqib would not accept it was over.

As a result, he “took to attempting to blackmail Ansreen” by threatening to send their sex tapes to her husband.

Mahek and her mother reportedly had plans to “silence” Saqid who attempted to blackmail her with her sextapes.

On January 4, Mahek sent her mum a message which read: “I’ll get him jumped by guys and he won’t know what day it is.”

The TikTok influencer also messaged her mum’s ex-lover, telling him: “I am sorry that this year you’ll be gone, Saqib.”

She and her mum hatched a plot to “silence” Saqib with her mum by luring him in with the offer of getting his £3,000 back.

On February 10, he was driven by “completely innocent” friend Hashim to collect the cash from Leicester.

Shortly after, Saqib made a heartbreaking 999 call in the minutes leading up to the crash.

He said: “I’m being followed by two vehicles and they’re trying to block me in. I can’t get to a police station – I need help right now.

“There’s guys following me. They’ve got balaclavas on.

“They’re trying to ram me off the road. They’re trying to kill me – I’m going to die.”

After giving his name to the operator, Saqib then begs: “They’re hitting into the back of the car very fast.

“Please, I’m begging you, I’m going to die.”

He can then be heard screaming before the clip cuts off.

Moments later, the Skoda Fabia the friends were travelling in smashed into a tree on a central reservation and “split in two”.

What happened in the car crash?

The 21-year-old was tragically killed in a 100mph fireball crash alongside his pal Hashim Ijazuddin after their Skoda was rammed off the road.

The horror smash happened on the A46 near Six Hills junction in Leicestershire at around 1.30am.

Emergency services raced to the scene to reports that a silver Skoda Fabia had left the carriageway.

Police said a grey Audi TT and a blue Seat Leon were also travelling “at speed” in the area at the time of the collision.

The two victims – Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin and Saqib Hussain – died at the scene after being chased by the defendants on February 11, the court heard.

Leicester Magistrates’ Court was told that just before the crash one of the victims called 999 to alert police.

A “loud scream” was heard from the other end of the phone before the call disconnected.

The car had been run off the road and hit a central reservation barrier where it was ripped apart at the point of impact, the court heard.

Where Mahek and her mother now?

Shortly after the crash, officers had attended the Bukhari family home in Stoke-On-Trent to arrest the pair.

Footage released by police showed how easily Bukhari spun a web of lies just four hours after the horrific event.

Wearing a pink fluffy hoodie, she causally told officers: “So at first we stayed here then we went straight to Nottingham.”

When asked if they went in her Audi TT, she agreed with police.

However, Bukhari and her mum hadn’t been to Nottingham, instead they had joined the other defendants in murdering Saqib and Mohammed.

Ansreen Bukhari and Mahek Bukhari denied two counts of murder and two alternate counts of manslaughter.

After 28 hours of jury deliberation at Leicester Crown Court, Mahek and Ansreen were found guilty of murder.

They faced a retrial alongside six others after jurors previously failed to reach verdicts at their original trial.

Jurors were told the devastating smash was “no ordinary traffic accident” but a “story of love, obsession, extortion and, ultimately, cold-blooded murder”.

Fellow defendants Rekhan Karwan and Raees Jamal were also today found guilty of two counts of murder.

Natasha Akhtar, Ameer Jamal and Sanaf Gulamustafa were all found not guilty of murder, but guilty of two counts of manslaughter.

Mohammed Patel was found not guilty of murder or manslaughter.
