In 2007, Paradis said that having children was as big of a commitment as marriage, while Depp later told Extra, “I never found myself needing that piece of paper … Marriage is really from soul to soul, heart to heart. “For my children I secretly choose France. Even though Los Angeles is great too,” Paradis told Belgium’s Weekend Knack magazine in 2007. “We raise them bilingually anyway, so for them it doesn’t really matter. Only, in the south of France you can live much more anonymously. And that’s a bliss, especially when the children are still young.”

When his kids were teens, amid his trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, he revealed a touching statement about his son and daughter saying “Since I knew there was no truth to [Heard’s allegations of domestic violence] whatsoever, I felt it my responsibility to stand up not only for myself in that instance but stand up for my children, who at the time were 14 and 16.”

Lily-Rose Depp is a celebrity kid but a star in her own right as she is a model, and actress. She’s the first child and daughter of actors Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis.
She was born Lily-Rose Melody Depp on May 27, 1999, Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine, France. She holds French-American nationality.
